Friends of St. Helens Choral Society
As I am sure everyone will appreciate, the costs involved in putting on high quality choral concerts with good soloists increases year by year. Without the continued support of our loyal and generous patrons the Choral Society cannot survive and we very much appreciate the extra revenue we receive from them. It is becoming more and more difficult to raise enough money to finance our performances-ticket sales alone go some way towards it but we need to find other ways to ensure that we can continue to provide good choral music in the future.
So with this in mind, we have decided to launch our Friends of St. Helens Choral Society scheme, whereby you can support us by donating a minimum of £25 a year. Those who choose to do this will receive a membership card entitling the holder to a 10% discount on 2 tickets per concert and a free programme. Members will also be welcome at an open rehearsal to see us at work as we prepare for concerts.
If you would rather contribute on a more hands-on basis, your practical assistance on concert nights would be of immense value to us and would also earn the same privileges as above. The front-of-house helpers are vital; it would be impossible to function without them and we are very grateful to those who have helped us faithfully for many years.
